Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade

Brows, Brows, Brows

We all have different shaped brows, from supper bushy big brows to thin perfectly looking brows. Some of you guys may have to pluck, wax, or thread your brows to make them look like you want them to look. Me on the other hand don’t really pluck, wax or thread my brows as they are naturally thin already, so I have never really done anything to them. Not too long ago, I did start filling them in though to add more definition of a bolder look. First time I filled them in, I saw a huge difference in my face (with makeup) so I have been filling them in ever since, except when I don’t wear makeup because they just look weird to me, so dark with no makeup lol…

After I started filling them in, I noticed that I need to shape-up my brows but I have been scared to pluck, wax or thread them, so I have some little hairs that I feel don’t belong lol… but I’ll get to doing that later on.

So what I have been using to fill in my brows? First I started with any regular eye shadow that was dark brown. I didn’t use black because I thought it would be too much. I wanted them to look as natural as possible. Then I discovered Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade in Chocolate and I fell in love with it. Please note I am not and eye brow filling expert but I do my best to make then look nice, plus I am a huge believer of practice makes perfect. Dipbrow comes in 5 different shades Blonde, Auburn, Chocolate, Dark Brown and Ebony. I purchased mines at Sephora for $18 + Tax and it was worth every penny.

This product is really creamy and extremely pigmented, a little goes a long way so be careful when applying it. I use a Mini Duo Angled/Spooley blush I got from Anastasia a while back. I don’t think they have this particular brush available but they do have other similar ones that are great as well or you can use any angled brush.
The Dipbrow Pomade lasts all day without smudging or fading. I have never gone to sleep with it but I am pretty sure you’ll wake up with it intact. The packaging is a really simple glass jar that won’t break easily, trust me I have dropped it a few times and is still intact. It’s easy to carry with you on the go. So would I re-purchase? Yes, that is if I ever run out of it as you really just need a little bit. I have had mines since February and see below how much of it I have left to use. I really love this product and would recommend it.

What products do you use to fill in your brows?

Thanks

Leslie xoxo

  1. Wow this makes a great difference! I'm not the most talented at doing my brows but I've been using Benefit's Gimme Brow and it's been doing the trick. I'll be checking out Anastasia's pomade though since I've been hearing such great things abt it! Oh, btw, have you tried Vain Pursuits? They're on my to-check-out list as well. I believe they're kind of like ipsy/memebox/birchbox but for skincare?
