Confessions of a Blogger Tag

Have I mentioned how much I love tags they are so much fun to do plus we get to learn new things about each other. Have you had any past online presence before?

No I mentioned this previously, I did gave blogging a shot before but I gave up, but the life lesson Jalyn taught me, to be brave, strong and fight and a bit of support from my sisters I started again. With the memory of Jalyn and the lesson she gave all those who had the chance to meet her. Another thing that motivated my return was all my fellow bloggers out there they work hard each day and follow their passion for fashion and makeup. I love art, fashion, writing and makeup, I just wanted to do something I loved and blogging lets me do all these combined. The first time I started I had no Idea what I was doing so I did my homework and did a little research and was a bit more prepared the second time around but I am still learning each day.

Why did you start a blog?

I started blogging for the same reason many beauty bloggers begin because of what we learn and read every day in other blogs. Besides Jalyn and my sisters, beauty bloggers inspired me to follow my dreams and do what I love most.

When did you become so serious about starting a blog?

I started getting more serious in mid-august 2012 I had wanted to do it but was afraid of not succeeding and thought no one would read my blog, but here I am and I’m not quitting no matter what happens you only make you dreams come true if you work hard. Plus the blogging community is so sweet and friendly I am happy because I have made some good friends along the way     

What was your first post?

My first post was a poem called our hopes at that point I still didn’t know what I wanted to write more about, but my blog has taken a turn to just reviews and hauls and fashion Thursdays, but Poetry may be coming back ;)

What has been your biggest challenge while blogging?

As Laurzie said, time is hard to post all the time, I work 9-5 sometimes I stay late and come home so tired and I do feel like I am letting my followers down by not putting fresh content on my blog, but I try to think they will understand. Most of us bloggers are really busy sometimes, but I always try to make time and a little schedule to do what I enjoy, besides fellow bloggers and followers are always so supportive, and that’s what I love about the blogging community they stand by each other like one big family :)

Where do you see your blog in one year?

Wow I will be so excited when my baby turns one year old lol… I would love to have at least 500 followers, but I’m happy that I at least have some lovely people who read and support my blog each day I really appreciate their support. I have lots of new things coming up before my one year anniversary, some mini goals for my blog, I will hope to have accomplished by then.

What is the most rewarding thing about blogging?

I totally agreed with Laurzie you have no Idea what a comment can do to a blogger at least to me it means a lot, that’s why I always reply to every comments even if it’s just to say thank you.  Also I love when they communicate with me via twitter or instagram or Pinterest, that’s how I have made some really good friends that hold a special place in my heart.

What is the most discouraging thing about blogging?

What is a bit discouraging is when people only follow you because there is a giveaway they want to enter then they un-follow you. That’s really not fair for those who actually follow my blog because they like it and because they enjoy reading it. That brings me down a bit, but I keep going because it’s what I like and enjoy doing.

What's your lasting inspiration or motivation?

My greatest inspiration and motivation are my fellow bloggers, besides my niece Jalyn may she rest in peace, bloggers understand each other some have the biggest sweetest heart and are always there to support you.  Comments also motivate me because it shows me that my posts are being read.
