The meaning of Christmas in my heart is spending it with family the ones you love and share every smile, every tear, every argument, every problem, every moment of joy & every moments of peace. Yes then there are gifts. Gifts are given as a thank you as a way of showing appreciation for those you love at least that’s how I feel about it.
Christmas is also a time to sit and think and appreciate what you have and that you have a family. Sometimes our family may drive us nuts and sometime we just want to get away from them, but at the end of the day they will always be there for you. My world revolves around My Family, includes my two sisters Cathy and Mariella, My handsome nephew Jayden, My Parents, My hubby, My close cousins Amy, Astry and Carolina, and my aunt Sonia whom I love as she was my mother. I love the rest of my family too but these people I named have always been there and have the closest place in my heart, also my friends who support me and have earned the word friend. I thank God because even though my family and friends are not perfect they are still with me.
Five years ago I lost a peace of me and though she is no longer with us this time of the years is where I think of her the most she left us so close to the holidays that its inevitable not to think about her Jalyn you guys have probably read about her numerous times on this blog and will probably read more about her, sorry I am supper determined to spread the word about Trisomy18 the decease that took her life and though it makes me sad it also makes me proud to have been her aunt and to have spoiled her with love. This blog is dedicated to her memory she will live forever in our hearts. Love your family and friends not only appreciate them during the holidays but all 365 days of the year because you just never know when they might leave. To read more about Jalyn’s Legacy click here.

I have read so many holidays wish lists I lost count but it’s interesting to read and see what people are craving for these holidays. Below are pictures of my wish list items there not too many I am not too picky either anything I get if I get anything is greatly appreciated from the bottom of my heart.

I love the holidays. I spend as much time as I can with my family, and that's what I love most about it. That being said, my great grandma and great uncle both passed this year, so it won't be the same.

Leslie having family (immediate & extended) around at this time of year is so precious & you're right we should never take them for granted. My husband & kids are sitting in the living room w/me watching Disney's "A Christmas Carol" and cracking nuts. Just this simple act brings so much pleasure.
ReplyDeleteYes you're completely right the little simple things are the ones that matter most. Family moments are priceless we should always cherish them.
